First National Bank & Trust recognizes the importance
our customers place on privacy and the security of their personal
information. Our goal is to protect your personal information
in every way that we interact with you, whether it's on the
telephone, in our lobby, at one of our ATMs, or on the Internet.
We think it is important for you to be informed of the policies,
procedures, and security measures we have in place to safeguard
your personal and confidential information. We have developed
this policy to help you to understand the steps we take to
protect your sensitive personal information. Throughout our
website, you will have access to our Privacy Policy at any
time.
External Third Party Links
Our website and Portal have a number of links to other third-party

or the content of such web sites.
Third-party merchants may collect personal information from
you when you visit their sites. For example, they collect
personal information from you when you provide billing information.
They may also collect information from you if you send them
an email. Some third-party merchants may also send you a cookie¹
to collect data on your Internet usage and preferences. When
you click on advertisements at third-party sites, the advertising
company may also send you a cookie. We do NOT have access
to this information, nor can we control how they use this
information. As a general rule, you should always look
for and review a site's privacy policy before giving out any
personal information.
If you have questions or concerns about the privacy policies

- Information about your transactions with us and others.
- Information we receive from a consumer-reporting agency.
- Information that is generated when you contact us electronically.
Our Internet financial services provider, FundsXpress Financial
Network, Inc. ("FundsXpress"), also collects and
maintains certain information about our customers simply to
help us provide banking and other financial services to you
online. They may also collect certain information for security
and statistical purposes. The information collected may include:
- The Internet address (referral site) which brought you
to our web site.
- The date and time you access our site.
- The name and version of your web browser.
- Your Internet Protocol (IP) address.
- Content of cookies sent by FundsXpress.
- The pages visited in our website and/or Portal.
The information collected on the pages you visit within
our website and Portal is used only for statistical purposes
and is tied only to your IP address. In the future, FundsXpress
may use some of this information to assist us in our marketing
practices. Additional information is provided below in the
section that discusses third-party advertising.
Internet Protocol (IP) Addresses
An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned
to your computer whenever you're surfing the Web. Web servers-the
computers that "serve up" Web pages-automatically
identify your computer by its IP address.
FundsXpress does not link IP addresses to anything personally
identifiable, which means that a user's session will be logged,
but the user remains anonymous to FundsXpress and us.
FundsXpress may use IP addresses to audit the use of our
site. FundsXpress can and will use IP addresses to identify
a user when necessary for security purposes.
Visitors to the Website and Portal
Visitors to our website remain anonymous. We do not collect
unique identifying information about you unless you voluntarily
and knowingly provide us that information. We do not send
website visitors a "cookie."
FundsXpress does send all Portal visitors a cookie. This
Portal cookie tells us how many times a user comes to the
site, where the user goes when they come to the site, and
which functionality in the portal our users are most interested
in. This cookie is only linked to your IP address, not any
personally identifiable information. Additional information
about cookie use is provided below.
FundsXpress does collect and disclose general information
to us about all visitors to both the website and portal, such
as when you accessed our site, which pages you accessed in
our website, and what Internet provider you used when you
accessed our site.
You may elect to provide us with more specific information,
such as when you give us feedback, register for the portal,
or send us an email. If you provide us this information, it
is only used internally and in furtherance of the purpose
for which it was provided.
We do not disclose or sell to any third-party, information
that we collect or that is provided to us from visitors to
our website. We do not send advertisements or email to someone
who just visited our website.
In the future, FundsXpress may share aggregate, non-personal,
identifiable information of Portal visitors with third-party
advertising companies to help us develop a more effective
advertising program. Please refer to the third-party advertising
section of this privacy statement for additional information.
Use of Cookies
Internet Banking:
When you log on to our Internet banking system, our service
provider, FundsXpress, passes a cookie to your browser. The
cookie only identifies your computer. FundsXpress does not
(and cannot) use cookies to collect or obtain new personal
information about you.
This cookie allows FundsXpress to process multiple transactions
during your session without requiring you to reenter your
pass code for each individual transaction. The cookies for
online banking simply provide another level of security for
our Internet banking product.
The FundsXpress online banking product uses encrypted
cookies that do not pass to your hard drive. Instead, the
cookie is stored in the memory of your browser, identifying
your computer while you are logged on. Only FundsXpress can
read the information in these cookies. When you log off, close
your browser, or turn off your machine, the cookie is destroyed.
A new cookie is used for each session. That way, no one can
use the prior cookie to access your account. For additional
security, the cookie expires after 10 minutes of inactivity.
It must then be renewed by reentering your pass code.
Portal Cookies:
When you log on to our customizable financial transaction
platform ("Portal"), we do not send you a cookie.
However, if you select the "Remember Me" checkbox
when you login, a cookie is sent by FundsXpress to your hard
drive. This "Remember Me" cookie enables you to
customize the Portal and bypass the login process each time
you revisit the Portal. This cookie is retained on your hard
drive until you either delete it or click on the Logout link
within the Portal.
When you login to the Portal, FundsXpress also sends you
another cookie called a "per-session" cookie or
"server-side" cookie. This "server-side"
cookie resides in the browser and is only used by FundsXpress
to monitor the session by a unique identification number.
You must accept the "server-side" cookie to use
the Portal. The cookie is destroyed after eight hours. Neither
the "Remember Me" cookie or the "server-side"
cookie collect or maintain any personally identifiable information
about you.
As discussed in the Visitor section of this Privacy Policy,
FundsXpress sends registered Portal Users and Portal visitors
a cookie to assist us in our planning process and our marketing
program. This cookie provides us general information, such
as when you accessed our site, which pages you accessed in
the portal, and what Internet provider you used when you accessed
our site. This cookie is sent to your hard drive.
Information That We Disclose
- We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information
about our customers or former customers to anyone, except
as permitted by law. We do provide your account information
to FundsXpress so that we may process your Internet Banking
transactions.
- We do not sell any of your personal information.
Third-Party Advertising
We have entered into a joint marketing agreement with FundsXpress
to market our financial services more effectively. Our contract
with FundsXpress requires that they maintain the confidentiality
of our customer information to the same extent that we must
do.
In the future, FundsXpress may share a portion of our aggregate
user information with third-party advertising companies. This
information would be disclosed only to help us develop more
effective advertising programs and to assist us in offering
products and services that should be of interest to you. The
information shared with third-party advertising companies
will not be personally identifiable. For example, such information
might include: the number of users shopping on the Internet
at a particular time of day, the number of users using AOL
browsers, the number of users shopping for new cars, or the
number of users shopping for mortgage loans.
We will provide you an opportunity to opt-out of or opt-in
to these advertising promotions if required by law.
Security
First National Bank & Trust has developed strict policies
and procedures to safeguard your personal information, which
states that all customer information is considered private
and privileged and is to be used solely for the purpose of
providing you with the finest service available. We strive
to limit customer information to those employees with a business
reason to know such information. Employees are educated on
the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of customer
information. We offer secure email through our online banking
services. You should use the secure mail service anytime you
send us sensitive personal information.
